Info for Those Who are Really Bored

Computer: beige G3 233mhz desktop.

I need more RAM. Who doesn't?

 

 

Currently I am freelancing for Lyrick Studios during regular business hours. Lyrick makes and distributes kids shows, videos, DVDs, books, toys...you get the idea. They do Barney (yeah, yeah, I know) and other shows like Wishbone. They also distribute Veggie Tales.

I'm working in the web department there. I do almost all the coding, site maintenance, content and multimedia prep work and related chores for Barney, Wishbone, RCLWeb, and FaithFirst, and about five others.

Before I started doing html for an actual job I did desktop publishing.

I'm in the process of learning flash 4 and hopefully this site won't suck after that.

For fun I play with 3D, Photoshop, and video. I use Inspire 3D mostly, and Videoshop and MediaPaint for video editing and effects.

Considering I had never touched a computer until five years ago, I feel fortunate to know what I know.

Before I bought a Mac I played drums for 10 years.

So the framed CD from the record deal is on the wall behind the bar where nobody ever looks, and my DWs are in a soundproof closet where I play them along with CDs. I still love playing and love music. I spend lots of time on the net listening to streaming MP3 stations.

I live with my computer maestro husband in a large city in Texas. We live in a great old house we're in the process of rejuvenating.

Life is full of books, video, music, assorted tech gadgets, computers and software. We are blessed and very happy nerds.
